DevOps Engineer

Permanent  |  £50,000 - £65,000 per annum  |  Central London

Linux  •  Infrastructure  •  DevOps

We’re working with an organisation in central London who believe that their growth as a business depends on their infrastructure, and they are investing heavily in making sure their infrastructure is up for the challenge of delivering.

They are revolutionising their platform, rolling out containerised applications that can deliver outstanding results for their customers and their development teams, by making it easier to continuously deploy code to production.

They are employing a mix of AWS and Azure on the cloud side, so you'll need extensive experience with AWS, and ideally some exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms. They are also using Docker containers in production, and Kubernetes as their orchestrator of choice, so you’ll also need to be comfortable working with Docker, and ideally, have worked with Kubernetes. However, exposure to other tools, such as Mesos would also good to see, but ultimately, what’s most important to this organisation is that you have a solid understanding of containerisation at a systems level and want to continuously improve your skills.

This organisation don’t just invest in DevOps tooling, they are fully aligned to DevOps as a culture, applying it fully to their working practices, and taking an active role in the wider community, attending meetups and conferences as much as they can. They are looking for someone who shares this enthusiasm and is fully brought into DevOps and the value it brings to a business.

If you’re looking for an opportunity working with cutting edge technology, in an environment that embraces DevOps methodologies at their heart, you should definitely apply, it’s definitely not a role that comes around every day.
