I am currently working with an exciting leading company in customer payment services across many industries in the private and public sectors. They cover various payment channels, from contactless devices, Chip and Pin to e-commerce as their business keeps growing massively.

Due to this growth, our client is currently forming a platform team that will be working on the non-functional engineering requirements for a payment processing platform led by the CTO adopting an Agile approach.

You'll be helping your team streamline the software lifecycle, improving the existent automated rolling deployment approach besides establishing and publishing service metrics and the platform KPI.

You will also promote the adoption of new operational tooling and processes for managing the platform, upgrade the core system technologies of the platform like HornetQ to ActiveMQ or JBoss to Spring boot for example.

Expect to engage with technical teams like operations and infrastructure to deliver the changes developer by the platform team whilst providing System Engineering support through the use of DevOps tool chains.

// Ideally, you'll have experience with the following:
. Strong Linux Systems experience
. Scripting with Python, Bash, or Perl
. Automated CD
. Ansible
. Monitoring and reporting on systems state and performance
. Experience of configuration, tuning, optimisation and troubleshooting activities
