Lead Windows Consultant
Permanent | £75000 - £85000 per annum + benefits | Central London | City of London
We currently have an opportunity to work for one of the most prestigious technology companies in the UK, where you will be joining the most senior client facing teams.
The main responsibility of this role is to undertake detailed and high level technical strategic planning for clients, helping them to achieve their business objectives from a technological standpoint.
As well as needing to be able to understand and action your clients' requirement, you'll have complete flexibility to plan and implement the delivery of projects. You will be required to identify opportunities for growth, and act as a point of escalation for customer problems when required.
We are looking for people who have a strong understanding of the entire process, as you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate technical documentation, deployments, and presentations.
Ultimately, this is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who have a wealth of knowledge in Engineering, as well as excellent communication skills as you will be working with a variety of individuals including technical engineers and non-technical directors.
Although this is an incredibly senior role, you will need to come from a strong background of Windows Engineering, as well as having a firm understanding of networking best practices and principles, web applications, databases, monitoring solutions to ensure that you are able to fully support your client base and achieve great results.
Automation and cloud-based technologies will play a fundamental part of this opportunity as our client strives to improve existing processes and evolve solutions using the best practices possible.
As you will be working with our clients largest and most important accounts, you will need to have demonstrable leadership and stakeholder management skills. Ideally, you will need to have made your way up through the ranks as an Operations Engineer into more senior and leadership positions.
This position is perfect for managers, who still have the desire the be hands-on with technology.
