This isn't the most exciting role

It won't revolutionise your life and you won't change the world.

The company are well established but they aren't 'world leading', 'global superpowers', or 'distuptive startups'

You'll be handsomely rewarded financially and still have time to tuck the kids in, meet your mates for a drink or go rock climbing in the evening.

You won't be 'super passionate' about technology, you won't live and breath technology 24/7, you enjoy your job of course, but you also have a life away from the office grind.

You might travel, play the drums, or go windsurfing on a weekend. You enjoy technology, but you don't lock yourself in a room on weekends and evenings, researching the latest variant of Ubuntu Linux whilst sat in your underpants.

In return for your skills with Linux Engineering, Networking and a little bit of 'DevOps', you'll get the opportunity to

Work in a mature, grown up environment, in a mature grown up industry.
Gain exposure to some of the latest technologies
Sit alongside likeminded individuals, who will talk to you about things outside the Command Line

This position will allow you to move away from a role that's consuming your life, and move towards a better work life balance, all without having to compromise how interesting your job is.

To be successful, we're looking for strong Linux infrastructure experience, someone who is comfortable with administration and engineering. The work is entirely project based and varies depending on the client. You will be networking, scripting, monitoring, working on AWS, VMware using automation and deployment tools the content of the work really is incredibly varied and equally rewarding.
