Senior DevOps Engineer with focus on CI and Automation
Permanent | £70000 - £80000 per annum + lots of benefits | Greater London | West London
An international e-commerce powerhouse with crazy high traffic are continuing to build out their DevOps team and are looking for you to come on board. You'll be working on their global CI/CD team focused on increasing scalability with Jenkins / Jenkins 2.0 for "pipeline as code" into "pipeline as configuration". As a result, you'll have excellent knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles and methodologies.
You'll have the chance to contribute to high-level tech discussions around how to structure automation, the estate and general best practices within Devops. The other key aspects around Jenkins would be Ansible for Automation (Puppet/Chef is okay) and a general Linux operational understanding and expertise.
This is a senior role and you will come into mentor and lead the current crop as well as learn from the heads of teams already as you branch out and become a veteran engineer. Having the right attitude and being someone who is a positive character and looking to be part of a quality team is essential, so don't be a jerk!
Alongside Jenkins, Ansible and Linux, you'll also get to work with; Terraform, Maven, Packer, Bash, Python and lots lots more. So, with a salary up to 80k and a wealth of benefits this position is a must have and I look forward to seeing your CVs.
