Site Reliability Engineer - Remote
Permanent | £35000 - £45000 per annum | Europe
We don't care where you work. We care about building great services, using your Python ability to build great infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work in a true Site Reliability Engineering function, in a modern flexible approach with full Remote Working possibilities.
The organisation provide many services ranging from Public Cloud Hosting to integrated networks and these services are provided on Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Your main tasks will be building infrastructure with your coding ability and helping to move from Monolithic beasts to Microservices in an attempt to modernise the way in which the company operates.
You will get the chance to work closely with the latest tools around cloud technology around both AWS and Google Cloud. You'll have detailed exposure to Kubernetes and Docker (no experience necessary) and the chance to work completely remote in a very hands on opportunity is guaranteed.
You will need strong commercial Python experience along side a strong knowledge of Linux and how to build infrastructure using Python. Exposure to containers, container orchestration, AWS or Google Cloud would be beneficial but not necessary.
